About
Artificial intelligence (AI) has become an emerging and impactful component of the tech field in the modern world. The Artificial Intelligence Club (AIC) seeks to build an all-inclusive community where students across all disciplines can explore this rapidly evolving technology and deepen their comprehension of this transformative field. We enable members to connect classroom knowledge with real-world applications, gain exposure to AI professionals, acquire new skills, and collaborate to apply theoretical knowledge in environments replicating the industry. Our club provides resources and information on the latest AI innovations beyond standard course materials through seminars, workshops, competitions, networking events, and the publication of a monthly newsletter. We facilitate opportunities for students to create solutions using the expanding capabilities of AI that drive significant global impact. Overall, the AIC aims to be a diverse, accessible, and enriching hub fostering a comprehensive understanding of AI technology and how it can be utilized to address contemporary challenges for the betterment of society. We welcome students of all backgrounds and majors looking to supplement academics, build expertise in an evolving industry, exchange ideas within an engaging community setting, and learn new skills to join the AIC in our mission to expand AI to the student body of the University of Michigan - Dearborn.
